CPD - IA-CEPA - Australia's New FTA With Indonesia IFCBAA178

CPD - IA-CEPA - Australia's New FTA With Indonesia IFCBAA178
As with all of Australia’s FTAs, the CBFCA and RCL have been extensively engaged with the ABF, DFAT and other agencies in the development of the IA – CEPA, especially in relation to issues relevant to members and their customers. The IA – CEPA is a significant new FTA between Australia and one of its major trading partners and represents the most comprehensive agreement to which Indonesia is a party.  Now the implementation processes have been completed, the IA – CEPA is now scheduled to commence on 5 July 2020.  The purpose of the CPD session is to prepare members and their customers for that commencement to make sure that preferential benefits can be secured from the very start.

This event will provide you with 3 CPD points in Stream A

The session will include the following important items

•             The commercial benefits from the IA – CEPA
•             Rules of Origin
•             Certificates of Origin and other requirements to claim preference
•             Procedural issues around transhipment, refunds and applications for Origin Advice
