This year's conference promises to be bigger and better than ever, bringing together senior industry leaders and key regulatory representatives for an action-packed three-day program filled with insights, networking and memorable experiences.
Venue & Accommodation
We are delighted to confirm the 5 star Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart as our official conference venue and accommodation partner. Overlooking the waterfront and the city skyline, this premier hotel provides the perfect setting for our 2026 National Conference.
The Welcome Reception will be held on Thursday evening in the Exhibitor area, officially opening the Conference and offering delegates a chance to network and visit our Trade Partner displays.
Pre-Conference Activities – Thursday, 14 May
Due to the success of the golf day in 2025, delegates can enjoy a round of Golf at one of Tasmania's most scenic courses — Royal Hobart Golf Club.
Incat Tour - Tour the amazing facilities of the Incat Shipping yard.
Liner Game - A fun, dynamic workshop, the liner shipping game is an interactive exercise used in the shipping and logistics industry
Conference Program
Friday, 15 May marks the start of the Plenary Sessions, featuring leading voices from across the industry and regulatory bodies.
Friday after Conference Day 1 - We welcome all First-time attendees to the IFCBAA Conference to enjoy Networking Drinks, being held in The Atrium Bar, Ground Floor, Grand Chancellor Hotel
Friday evening will be free for delegates to explore Hobart's vibrant dining scene and waterfront bars at their leisure.
Saturday, 16 May continues with further Plenary Sessions, before culminating in the IFCBAA Industry Gala Dinner and Member Awards Evening in the hotel's elegant Grand Ballroom — a highlight of the Conference.
