There are two Streams in the CPD Scheme:
Stream A - an activity in this stream must align with the content of one of the core units of the Diploma of Customs Broking, covering the fundamental aspects of a licensed customs broker's role, such as valuation, classification, and origin. You can earn all 30 of your annual CPD points through this stream.
Stream B - an activity in this stream must address a subject of relevance and importance to a licensed customs broker, such as broker management issues or emerging industry topics. It also includes sessions on obligations, risks and ethics for licensed customs brokers. You can earn up to 12 of your 30 annual CPD points through this stream.
- The Australian Border Force (ABF) has introduced a mandatory CPD module which all licensed customs brokers must complete by 31 March, the end of the CPD year. Customs brokers will attain 3 CPD points from stream B by completing the module, which is only available online through the ABF Australian Trusted Trader (ATT) training portal.
